Duties of the Press Brake Operator:
Use and interpret customer supplied engineering drawings to determine the fabrication, joining and assembly of components.
- Work with dimensional tools such as rulers, calculators, set squares etc. to determine individual part and batch dimensional compliance to customer drawings.
- Set and operate hydraulic press brakes
- Fasten and join seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, inserts etc. ensuring work is done carefully and that the joins will last.
- Assembly of individual metal components in compliance to customer specifications and drawings.
- Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled to ensure safety and a seamless appearance
- Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects according to specifications
- Ensure safety is a priority during all manufacturing processes.
- Ensure that work is conducted in an efficient and professional manner and that areas under your control are kept clean and tidy.

- 08.00 - 16.00
- £14.75 Per Hour (£30,000 Per Annum)
