Teaching Assistant / Classroom Support Assistant - SN14

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils in groups and on a 1:1 basis, helping them thrive academically and socially.
  • Assisting with delivering English, Mathematics, and other curriculum subjects.
  • Supporting the personal care needs of pupils, where required.
  • Helping the teacher with lesson preparation, classroom set-up, and student progress tracking.
  • Encouraging inclusion and boosting pupil self-esteem, fostering a supportive learning environment.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Strong initiative to support children's individual needs and learning.
  • Experience in motivating students and enhancing their academic and personal development.
  • Comfortable assisting with personal care needs or delivering therapeutic exercises if required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and pupils alike.
