My client, a small and welcoming primary school, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support their mixed Reception/Year 1/Year 2 class of just 12 pupils. What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing classroom support in literacy, numeracy, and other key learning areas.
• Supporting pupils with emotional, physical, and academic needs, including those with special educational needs.
• Monitoring and contributing to the progress of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Helping organize and maintain the learning environment, including preparing materials.
• Assisting with behavior management and fostering a safe, encouraging atmosphere.
• Supervising children during break times, assemblies, and school trips.
• Potentially running breakfast or after-school clubs to enrich the school community.

About You

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Have experience or confidence working across the primary age range.
• Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to engage children in these areas.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Be calm, flexible, and able to build meaningful relationships with children and staff.
