Warehouse Supervisor

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor to join their Chippenham Depot.

What will you be doing?
You will oversee and coordinate the running of the shift supporting the Operations Manager. You will also be involved in the day-to-day picking and loading multi part orders yourself assisting the team when necessary.
- 40 hours per week, 10:30am 7:30pm
- Use of FLT counterbalance
- Occasional stock take
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload
- Communicate job expectations and coach team members
- Interface with other departments to answer questions and solve problems
- Identify areas of improvement, creating and adjusting work procedures and practices
This role includes manual handling of our products; you must be comfortable doing so in the correct manner.
Am I right for the job?
- MUST hold a valid counterbalance FLT certificate of competence
- Relevant warehouse supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
