Warehouse Supervisor
Chippenham, Monday - Friday 10:30am - 19:30pm, Progression opportunities. Pension. Paid annual leave. On site canteen.
An exciting opportunity for a warehouse supervisor to join the logistics team of major supplier. The role affords you the ability to learn a variety of tasks which will include:
- Picking customer orders from a specific order profile
Some loading and pallet checking will also form part of your working day - Driving a Forklift Truck - Counterbalance
- Manage and motivate the team ensuring KPI's and deadlines are achieved
- Develop and train new and existing team members
- Manage goods inwards
- Disciplinary and grievance management
- Shift plan and cover holiday and sickness
The warehouse supervisor role would be ideal for you if you have worked in a warehouse environment previously or have experience of picking and packing within a distribution or goods in good out department. You will have a experience using a counterbalance forklift truck and ideally have an in-licence.
As a key part of the operation, you will be working within a distribution setting, but with the benefit of your own small friendly team. The company takes pride in its reputation for excellence and has the well-being and safety of their teams at the heart of their operation.
