SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Classroom Support - SN15

My client is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to pupils in Key Stage 1. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs.
  • Assisting with individual learning plans and adapting materials to meet student needs.
  • Supporting social, emotional, and communication development in young learners.
  • Encouraging children’s engagement, confidence, and independence in learning.
  • Participating in OPAL lunchtime supervision to promote inclusive play.
  • Working closely with teachers, SEND specialists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN and keen to develop expertise in this area.
  • Comfortable with providing intimate care when needed.
  • A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiastic about outdoor learning and creative educational approaches.
