SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Classroom Support - SN15

My client is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to pupils in Key Stage 1. This role is available on a full-time basis, working on a Fixed-term contract until the end of the acdemic year with the potential for the role to turn permanent after this.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs.
Assisting with individual learning plans and adapting materials to meet student needs.
Supporting social, emotional, and communication development in young learners.
Encouraging children’s engagement, confidence, and independence in learning.
Participating in OPAL lunchtime supervision to promote inclusive play.
Working closely with teachers, SEND specialists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Be able to do the job as described.
Passionate about supporting children with SEN and keen to develop expertise in this area.
Comfortable with providing intimate care when needed.
A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Enthusiastic about outdoor learning and creative educational approaches.
