The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a school near Chipping Norton. We are looking for a Temporary School Administrator to join their dedicated team and provide exceptional administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff - managing reception duties, phone calls, and enquiries
  • Assist with organising school events, trips, and activities
  • Deliver general clerical tasks including photocopying, filing, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
  • Maintain and update school records and databases
  • Generate reports and lists from management systems
  • Coordinate and process school meal bookings and orders
  • Support financial administration tasks
  • Manage inventories, supplies, and distribute materials
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection policies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous Administration experience is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in ICT packages such as Word, Excel, and databases
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a busy environment
  • A team player with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents, and children
