Our exclusive client, based in Chorley, is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team for 6 months. The business has grown rapidly over the past few years and due to this and a new system implementation, they need someone to support the finance team with the extra workload.
Duties will include:
- Processing purchase invoices and dealing with supplier queries
- Supplier reconciliations
- Assisting with bi-weekly and monthly payment runs
- Processing sales invoices and credit notes
- Inputting financial data
- Supporting the transactional team at month end
- Adhoc projects linked with the transactional team and the new system
The ideal candidate will have good all round accounts experience and be able to commit to a 6 month contract.
