Job SummaryCareerMakers are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives / Furniture Technician for an ever-growing business in Adlington.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of different materials.
- Use power tools effectively and safely for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces as per project specifications.
- Fabricate custom woodwork according to design plans.
- Ensure all work is level, and square by using appropriate measuring tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools related to carpentry.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
- Experience in joinery techniques is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Shifts:
Mon - Fri, 7am - 3:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm
Pay rate:
27.500 per annum
