We are currently seeking 2 experienced Multi-Skilled Joiners to join our client's growing team, based in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled tradespeople who are looking to work within a large, reputable company with a range of ongoing projects in and around the Preston area. You will be responsible for performing high-quality joinery tasks on various sites, including domestic, commercial, and maintenance works. The role is Monday to Friday, with the potential for a company van to be provided, depending on the job requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a variety of joinery works, including repairs, installations, and maintenance across multiple sites in Preston and surrounding areas.
  • Work with a wide range of materials such as timber, MDF, and sheet materials, ensuring precision and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Install and repair doors, windows, staircases, flooring, and other joinery elements, ensuring that all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Carry out general property maintenance duties as required, ensuring that clients’ needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe operation on all worksites.
  • Provide advice and support to customers when required, maintaining excellent customer service throughout.
  • Work effectively within a team, collaborating with other trades to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter, with solid practical knowledge of joinery and maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
  • Tools required for the role (a van may be provided if necessary, depending on your needs).
  • Reliable transport to commute to various sites around Preston and the surrounding areas.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to your work.
  • Previous experience in both domestic and commercial joinery is advantageous.
