We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account/Sales Manager to join our Passive Fire Department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing client relationships, focusing on passive fire protection solutions. You will drive sales growth by promoting our range of fire stopping, fire door installation, and compartmentalization services to both new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, facilities management, healthcare, and commercial property sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, including property managers, contractors, and safety officers.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue goals of the Passive Fire Department.
  • Technical Expertise: Understand the key aspects of passive fire protection products, such as fire doors, fire-stopping materials, and compartmentation systems, to provide clients with accurate and reliable advice.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare proposals, quotes, and negotiate contracts with clients to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Compliance: Ensure all services and products sold comply with relevant fire safety legislation, such as BS 9999, BS 476, and EN standards.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and fire safety regulations to identify potential areas for growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and procurement to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management, identifying challenges and opportunities in the market.
  • Training & Development: Attend industry events, trade shows, and professional development training to enhance product knowledge and industry expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales/account management, preferably within the construction, fire protection, or building safety industries.
