The Role

The job's main purpose is to be responsible for providing a high-quality credit control service to clients and their tenants. Working as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment the main focus is to receive the collection of overdue accounts.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contact tenants by telephone and email to secure payment for outstanding amounts
  • Uses initiative to achieve results, while promoting customer goodwill and good service
  • Reporting directly to clients on the progress of obtaining arrears
  • Attend regular client meetings (virtual at present) to provide an update on the arrears position
  • Regularly liaising and working in conjunction with Property Managers and Client Accounts, dedicated to specific clients or properties
  • Maintain tenant database with accurate details to assist in pursuing arrears
  • Daily liaison with Treasury to enable the correct information to be available to the Property Managers
  • Reconciliation of accounts when necessary

The Person

This will suit someone who has previous Credit Control experience or someone that is looking for the next step into a Credit Control role.  You must have excellent Microsoft Office skills, be organised with good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure is essential. You must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and be proactive in your approach to work.
