Finance Business Partner

Resourcery Group is delighted to support a well-established and renowned Not-for-Profit organisation. This charity provides essential advice and assistance to vulnerable individuals across the UK. The finance department is a small but crucial team responsible for delivering a professional, accurate, and timely accounting service to support the organisation's valuable services. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in budget preparation, accurate financial reporting, and providing insights to facilitate strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with the Director of Finance on strategic projects
  • Collaborating with budget managers across the organisation to drive financial performance and achieve goals
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Liaising with external advisors and auditors as necessary
  • Working closely with senior management and operational teams in monthly reviews, general manager meetings, and budget/forecasting
  • Owning the monthly management accounts 
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
