A successful privately owned business with a proud history of supplying to the some of the biggest names in the construction industry has an opportunity for a Head of Finance due to retirement.
Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a small team this is a hands on role with a diverse range of responsibilities. It is hands on enough to give you visibility of the day to day finance operations and enabling you to add value to business decision making as a key support to the owners.
Your remit will include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts, presenting to board
- Cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting
- Overseeing all finance and accounting processes, suggesting improvements as required
- Key liaison point with 3rd parties e.g. auditors, bank
- Overseeing HR and payroll activities
To be considered for this role you should be an experienced Accountant who is used to managing the finance function for an SME. Knowledge of the construction industry would be a distinct advantage.
