DESK BASED SALES EXECUTIVE

Salary: From £25500 to £27 000 basic + bonus, depending on experience

Due to their ongoing success they have an exciting opportunity for a Desk Based Sales Executive to join their team.

About the Role

To sell the range of products to existing and new customers. To maintain and grow sales by developing new business from an existing customer base as well as generating new business from new customers. Ensuring customer retention through excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow the existing customer base to achieve all targets
  • Ensure accurate recording of all opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies for new campaigns
  • Contact customers via outbound calls
  • Deal with telephone enquiries and orders
  • Gain thorough knowledge of order processes.
  • Pro-actively identify, qualify and secure new opportunities/sales.
  • Process new sales orders & new account applications and assist in the resolution of sales/product issues.
  • Maintain and develop an in-depth knowledge of all company products
  • Deal effectively with general enquiries from customers.
  • Any other duties as necessary for the role.

Experience

Essential

  • Proven sales ability within a fast paced environment.
  • Proven history of achieving sales and activity targets
  • Ability to use Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.

Desirable

  • A knowledge of construction industry / construction products would be an advantage
