About Us: Spencer Clarke Group is pleased to partner with a primary school in the Chorley area. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join their team for the entire academic year starting in September 2024. This role involves working 6 hours per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The Role: As an After School Club Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging children in a variety of activities after school hours. You will help create a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for the children to enjoy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children during after school club hours, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Organise and lead a variety of activities, including games, arts and crafts, and sports.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of activities and resources.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the club area is clean, tidy, and well-organised.
  • Support the children with any homework or projects as needed.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a similar setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
