Position: Town Planner - Strategic Land Team

We are currently looking for a Town Planner to join the Strategic Land Team, playing a vital role in driving forward land acquisition and planning strategies for residential development.

The RoleAs a Town Planner, you will work closely with the Strategic Land Team to identify, promote, and secure prime land sites for residential development. You will be responsible for assisting with planning applications, conducting site assessments, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure smooth progression through the planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and promoting strategic land opportunities for residential development
  • Support in preparing planning applications and liaising with local authorities
  • Conduct site appraisals and feasibility studies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local councils, and other key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of land strategies to align with business growth objectives

What We're Looking For:

  • Town Planning Degree
  • 1+ years' experience in town planning, ideally within the residential development sector
  • Strong understanding of the planning process, including land promotion and planning applications
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A genuine interest in creating sustainable, well-designed communities
