Complex needs teaching assistant - ASAP - Chorley

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work with an organisation which provides both residential and educational support to young people with complex learning and medical needs. This role is full time, and work will cover personal support for children and young adults, creating an environment where the students to achieve their full potential, and have fun. Personal care will be involved as well.

A successful candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or supporting individuals with complex needs.

The position will begin as soon as possible, with the likelihood that you will continue through the summer term, and potentially fill a permanent position at the beginning of the next academic year. Additionally, it is a full time position, with working hours Monday Friday 9:30am 3:30pm. The organisation is based in Cheadle, and is easily accessible by public transport.

It is essential that you have an up to date Enhanced DBS that is registered on the online update service. If you do not have an up to date DBS, you can obtain one through Prospero Teaching, You should also have eligibility to work full time in the UK, and references covering at least the last 2 years.

up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (training can be provided)up to dae prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 yars (training can be provided)
