Creative Designer Job in Christchurch (12-Month Contract)

Dovetail Recruitment are very pleased to be working with a thriving client based in Christchurch who has an exciting new opportunity for a Creative Designer to join their team! You’ll be working in a vibrant, fast-paced office environment alongside key partners in the business including Account Managers, Product Developers and Technical Managers to deliver creative projects for a wide range of clients.

This position provides an incredible opportunity to solidify your creative skillset and work with a huge range of products held in the UK’s most well-established and longest-standing grocers and retailers.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Creative Designer:

• Take ownership of projects from idea conception to artwork delivery under the guidance of the Design, Brand & Creative Manager
• Produce beautifully designed new product and packaging concept visuals
• Design of presentations for internal teams and new business pitches
• Art working designs and preparing files to send to printers/suppliers
• Maintain brand consistency across all Solent and licensed brands
• Assist the Product Development Managers with artwork approvals, to ensure accurate, consistent and well-designed products are delivered on time

Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience with packaging design or designing print
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Able to work towards branding guidelines and style guides
• Driving licence

This Creative Designer job in Christchurch would suit candidates who have some experience working as a Graphic Designer, ideally within a product-based industry.
