This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a highly regarded contractor specialising in the Water sector. Our client has recently secured Tier 1 status on the South West Water Framework for AMP8, ensuring job stability and career progression through at least 2030.

As a Site Manager, you will be part of the delivery team for a 70m Clean Water Treatment Plant upgrade in Dorset. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in developing and improving the delivery team while enhancing health, safety, quality, and environmental outcomes, as well as ensuring the commercial success of the project.

As Site Manager you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement within the project delivery team.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Work closely with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships.
  • Monitor project progress, managing budgets and schedules effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays and cost overruns.
  • Lead site teams and foster a positive, safety-focused working environment.

Our client requires a Site Manager with:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the water, utilities, or civil engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations (SMSTS & CSCS required).
  • Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (Water sector preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Salary/Benefits:

  • 50,000 - 55,000 per annum
