Primary Class Teacher - Year 1
Location: Infant School, Christchurch
Full-Time | Fixed Term (until the end of the academic year) | Permanent for the Right Candidate
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
GSL Education is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join a wonderful Infant School in Christchurch. This is a full-time teaching role for a Year 1 class, starting immediately, with the position being fixed-term until the end of this academic year. However, there is the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and creative lessons to Year 1 students.
- Providing a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development.
- Planning and preparing high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assessing, tracking, and reporting on students’ progress.
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
- Collaborating with a supportive and experienced team of educators.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Passionate about teaching and nurturing young minds.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with children, staff, and parents.
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching.
