We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a school in Christchurch. This role is open to both qualified and unqualified teachers, provided you have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

Working with students with SEMH needs, you will create an engaging, supportive, and structured learning environment that encourages participation and personal development.



Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapting teaching strategies to support students with SEMH needs
  • Encouraging teamwork, resilience, and confidence in students
  • Managing behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
  • Working closely with other staff to support student progress and well-being


Requirements

  • Knowledge of the National curriculum (essential)
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEN/SEMH needs
  • A passion for physical education and promoting an active lifestyle
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Relevant qualifications and experience
