This school is a dedicated Special Educational Needs setting specialising in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are seeking a committed and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team and make a tangible difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with ASD.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to implement personalized learning plans.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure each child's success.
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support a holistic approach to education.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school initiatives aimed at improving the overall quality of education.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with ASD, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies and individualized support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and families.
- A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach to teaching.
