Here at Hobbycraft, we are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator ( 6 month FTC) to join the team based at our Head Office in Christchurch. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £25,500 depending on experience, a pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores plus many more!

Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

About the Supply Chain Coordinator role:

The Supply Chain Coordinator is an administrative role that requires a high level of attention to detail, to ensure and improve the efficiency and operation of our team.  The role requires a sound knowledge of the wider Supply Chain environment and a good understanding of the market that Hobbycraft trades in. 

The role takes responsibility for coordinating and communicating responses from stores and suppliers, creating ad hoc orders and supporting the Supply Chain team with stock queries and requests.  A key part of the role is keeping documentation up to date and managing data entry into our software.

Strong working relations with key stakeholders should be built to enable the coordinator to operate cross functionally and achieve results as part of a team. A proactive and problem-solving approach is necessary, ensuring a timely response to fast-changing priorities.

What we're looking for in our Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Experience in a retail environment is preferable
  • Experience with a variety of IT software including data entry and purchase order management
  • The ability to build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders
  • Has a proactive approach to managing workload
  • Commercial awareness in their decision-making process
  • Maintains a positive and resilient outlook
  • Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Identifies risks and opportunities, communicating these clearly and in a timely manner to stakeholders
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
