What the role Involves:

  • Manage and optimise supply chain operations, including procurement, forecasting and incoming deliveries from overseas suppliers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Look after stock control, inventory and stores alongside warehouse team.
  • Monitor and analyse supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain and facilitate compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to supply chain and logistics.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.

Ideal Skills

  • Proven experience in supply chain management.Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in SAGE would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience within the electronics market is a plus, but not essential.
