I am a great opportunity to join an expanding company in Derbyshire as Production Operative on a permanent basis. The shifts are 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am
The role:
- Operating and maintaining the plants machinery
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with the production supervision team to highlight any stock level concerns
- Maintaining a flexible approach to work to meet team-based plant requirements
- Observing and maintaining safety levels with particular attention to machinery and electrical equipment
- Undertaking training as required by the company
- Maintaining a strict level of hygiene in and around the plant machinery
- Liaising and coordinating with all departments to ensure no machinery breakdowns
Skills and Experience:
- At least 1-year experience within a similar role
- Experience in a Bottling line machinery would be preferred
- Previous experience of operating filler and/or labelling equipment is desirable.
- Previous shift work experience
- A UK food standard qualification and or certification is desirable but not essential
- Good verbal and written communication as well as Problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
