Schoolsthat we represent in the Forest of Dean need a compassionate, patient and empatheticindividual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children withspecial educational needs, in particular those with Profound Multiple LearningDifficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and PhysicalDisabilities (PD).Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with manual handling, care, changing and feeding.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support each child's development.
  • Engage in physically active tasks to support students' needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children and/or adults with special educational needs in the UK.
  • Experience in manual handling, care, changing, and feeding.
  • A proactive and resilient attitude.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
