Role Overview

As a Pastry Chef, you will look after and create a variety of baked goods, desserts, cakes, and bread in-house.

You’ll have the freedom to craft delicious and innovative pastries that complement our menus while using fresh, seasonal, and locally-sourced ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, bake, and decorate a wide variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and bread—all made from scratch in-house.
  • Experiment with new techniques and recipes, contributing creative ideas to elevate our pastry offerings.
  • Maintain an organized and clean pastry section, adhering to all hygiene and safety standards.
  • Manage pastry-related stock and ingredient orders to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to integrate pastries into the wider menu, including for special events or seasonal offerings.
  • Mentor and guide junior kitchen staff as required, ensuring best practices are followed.
