Employed Financial Adviser - LEADS PROVIDED - Cirencester

£50,000 (Basic) + Bonus, Benefits, Free Parking

Working Hours: Mon-Fri between 8am-5.30pm. Very limited evening and weekend.

We are delighted to support this well-respected firm of Financial Planners who seek an employed Financial Adviser to join the team. Based in the Cotswold town of Cirencester with clients across across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. A truly independent practice who pride themselves being client-centric and offering high level of technical, tailored advice to individuals, and building long term relationships.

Full client support admin provided, with some additional paraplanning support and assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and servicing existing client bank
  • Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients.
  • Writing suitability reports on a variety of case types (some assistance and templates available)
  • Strictly comply with the Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures of the firm
  • Attain and sustain competent status
  • Maintain performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years experience advising experience
  • Demonstrated substantial experience providing financial advice and relevant KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to identify and engage with potential clients, coupled with a track record of gathering comprehensive client information and understanding their unique needs.
  • The capability to explain complex information simply and clearly.
  • The ability to establish strong relationships with clients.
  • A background in conducting thorough research and analysis to make suitable recommendations based on client needs and market conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing supporting documentation.

Skills

  • Detailed knowledge of FCA and the firm’s record keeping requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Client focused with excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Ability to act professionally, with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Essential)
  • Level 6 Diploma in Financial Planning (Desirable)

Additional Information and Benefits

  • 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to suit between the hours of 8 and 5.30pm. 1-hour unpaid lunch, which can be reduced to 30 mins to allow an earlier finish
  • 20 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays, plus an extra 3 days holiday for Christmas when office is normally closed. Holiday bonuses apply after 2 years’ service (1 extra day for every year up to max of 4 days)
