My Client offers holistic and a bespoke Financial Planning offering who are specialists within Pensions, Investments and Tax. Although only 1 main adviser, the owner holds a wealth of industry experience and alone manages a client portfolio of 170 active clients with 175 million funds under management , so high net worth focus.

The role

You will join a team which consists of 2 who supports the Director with administration and paraplanning but due to business growth and capabilities there is a unique position for either a IFA Administrator or Junior Paraplanner to join the team so the role is mouldable to the successful candidates skills and career aspirations. 

The role in an integral part of this IFA firm and you will be actively involved in all elements, file prep, maintenance and review. Using x plan, dynamic planner and other online tools. It will be office based, 9 to 5 with some potential flexibility after training and integration with team. It will also involve,, quote preparation, account reconciliation as needed. Contact with clients and providers as needed. Training will be provided as needed, depending on experience on various systems. They currently use IRESS as their Backoffice system and main platforms are Standard Life and Aegon and for more bespoke products they also use Canada Life and AJ Bell but not restricted to.

Experience required

  • IFA environment exposure
  • Providing proactive sales support to IFAs
  • Industry recognised qualifications or working towards.
  • IT Literate and experience of using IRESS would be preferred but can be learnt.
  • Excellent communicational skills both written and verbal.
