Job Title: Senior Sous Chef
Salary: up to £17.50 per hour including tronc
Location: Near Cirencester (must drive due to location)
Location type: Pub/ Restaurant
Hours: 45 hours a week.
A fresh food site near Cirencester is seeking a skilled Sous chef with a passion for farm-to-table cuisine. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of fresh produce, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients within a 25-mile radius.
A commitment to sustainability and a flair for creating innovative dishes that highlight the natural flavours of the ingredients will set apart the successful applicant. Key responsibilities (not limited to):
*Hands on approach to all tasks assigned by the Head Chef
*Working collaboratively, ensuring your team meets to timescales.
*Preparation and cooking of meat, fish, veg including hot & cold starters and main courses.
*Supporting the pastry section as/when required.
*Ensuring a clean and organised workstation.
Skills and experience
*Ability to work in a fast pace environment
*Enthusiasm for cooking and pastry
*Ability to manage a small team
*Experience in a similar role and establishment
