Thrive Education are excited to support a vibrant, fun and cohesive school located on the outskirts of Cirencester with a short-term absence this November.

The school are looking for a qualified teacher to take on their year mixed 3 & 4 for the half-term (term 2). This is a planned absence, so youll have the pleasure of delivering pre-planned work that has already been set! Phew, no nights planning!

In the class youll work in partnership with an experienced, dedicated and reliable TA who knows each child individually. With this in mind, the class has 26 children with mixed ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the lessons in an engaging and fun way.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support the individual needs of pupils.
  • Mark and assess students' work in line with school policies (if applicable).

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in a UK classroom.
  • A strong understanding of the English curriculum.
  • A passion for teaching and supporting children's development.
