As a leading manufacturer of engineered parts, this client is seeking a new Manufacturing Team Leader to join a successful team based in the Southeast. Ideally seeking a candidate who can evidence 3-5 years of previous, relevant CNC and Tooling manufacturing experience, someone who can lead, train, and motivate a team of production and CNC tooling operatives within a high precision industry. Working on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday hours of work permanent days, supported by an attractive salary of £40,000 plus a range of impressive employee benefits.Â
Key Responsibilities:•   Lead and manage a team of CNC/Tooling manufacturing operators to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.•   Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.•   Ensure that products are manufactured to customer specification, using a range of CNC Tools (Lathes, Jigs, Mills) •   Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.•   Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.•   Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance within CNC Operation •   Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.•   Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:•   Proven experience as a Manufacturing Team Leader or similar role in a manufacturing environment, with 3-5 years of previous CNC machining/setting experience •   Strong leadership and team management skills.•   Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.•   Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.•   Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.•   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.•   Proficiency in using CNC Tooling operationsÂ
