We are currently recruiting for an Architectural Technician/Technologist to join our client based in Cirencester.

Requirements

  • Ideally you will have MCIAT or MCIOB to complement their team of Chartered Building Surveyors and other Architectural Technicians.
  • Minimum 5 years PQE
  • Able to use AutoCAD.
  • Undertaking accurate measured surveys and prepare survey drawings (not essential).
  • Preparation of proposal/feasibility drawings for discussions with clients.
  • Preparation of drawings to meet statutory requirements such as for planning application, listed building consent application, and building control submission.
  • Must have experience with listed buildings, understand the planning system, and good building control knowledge.
  • Good with clients and able to meet new clients and win work.
  • Able to write schedules of work/specifications.
  • Knowledge of JCT contracts (MW & IMW), contract administration experience, and project management experience.
  • Able to manage own workload
