About the job:We have a permanent Senior Finance Officer opportunity within our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a lead role in delivering effective financial control, reporting, systems and processes.In this role you will:- Be accountable to produce accurate and on time monthly management accounts pack and KPI reporting for all areas of Scottish Autism in line with the reporting timetable- Assist the Financial Controller to ensure that appropriate financial control processes are in place, and overseeing the implementation of these controls on a day to day basis- Coordinate the collation of commentary and analysis of variances to budget/reforecast- Provide line management support, advice and guidance to the Finance AssistantsAbout You:You will be:- Collaborative, actively seeking to contribute to the collective success of the team- Customer focused, with a passion for understanding customers’ needs and going the extra mile to meet those needs- A change maker, always looking for ways to improve processes and service levels, and to add value- An excellent communicator with excellent interpersonal and listening skills- Able to prioritise work, work under pressure, switch between tasksYou will have a recognised accounting qualification e.g. HND Accounting and/or AAT, with experience developed in a similar or equivalent role.
