Job Title: Interim Finance Manager / Financial Controller
Contract: 3-Month Assignment
Location: Remote
Start Date: Immediate
Rate: £250 - £400 depending upon experience via Umbrella
Overview:
Concept -IT are seeking a hands-on, highly experienced Interim Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join our client for a 3-month assignment. This is a critical role for the business, requiring a dynamic individual who is ready to start immediately. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day financial operations while providing strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Consolidation of the group reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounts
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital requirements
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making
- Support the business with financial planning, analysis, and control
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Review and improve existing financial processes and systems
Qualifications & Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in finance management or financial controller roles
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Happy to roll sleeves up and be involved
- Ability to start immediately
