Cooper Lomaz is delighted to be working with a growing business in Clacton-On-Sea to recruit a Electronics Support Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding company and play a vital role in providing technical support to international customers.

Role Overview

As an Electronics Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for product-related issues. You will work closely with international customers, troubleshooting problems remotely and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective resolutions. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to support highly technical customers via email and Microsoft Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary support contact for customers.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and resolve product-related issues or escalate when necessary.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and internal teams to ensure efficient problem resolution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the customer base.
  • Document inbound tickets and create knowledge base/troubleshooting guides.
  • Proactively learn and understand the products to provide expert support.

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualification in Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
  • Experience working with electronics and troubleshooting faults.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of PHP, C#, HTML, or .NET is desirable but not essential.

Additional Information

  • Office-based role - full-time presence on-site required.
  • Working hours: 8:00 - 16:00 or 9:00 - 17:00.
