Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals and clients with complex tax affairs
  • Reviewing tax returns and compliance work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Providing clients with a proactive, cost-effective taxation service that meets their needs and regulatory requirements
  • Leading the training, coaching, and mentoring of less experienced staff to support their career development
  • Researching and drafting tax advisory work on private client and employment tax matters
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver excellent client service
  • Working closely with senior management and partners to review team performance, improve efficiency, and enhance internal processes
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline procedures and drive efficiencies within the tax team

Candidate Requirements
  • CTA qualified or qualified by experience
  • At least four years’ post-qualification experience in personal tax
  • Strong technical knowledge in personal and trust tax compliance and advisory work
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and projects
