Workshop Joiner / Machinist.
We are GSF Stairs, a renowned family run designer, manufacturer and installer of specialist and bespoke staircases across the South of the UK.
Our lovely workshop is based in the Hampshire countryside at Pensdell Farm, Basingstoke, on the Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire borders. We are a small family joinery business that has been trading since 1992. We are dedicated to the delivery of the highest quality custom staircases tailored to the individual needs and style preferences of our clients.
The business is growing, and the team is further expanding, we are looking for individuals with experience in the stairs sector to help progress. As such we are looking for an experienced staircase joiner to come and join us to continue to provide high quality service and expertise to our customers.
We are keen to grow and have a team that is willing to grow with us. The ideal candidate’s role will be the setting out, machining, assembly of stairs and stair parts using the flatbed CNC, woodworking machines, and power tools. Undertaking stock management to ensure materials are ready for the builds.  Also bringing in fresh ideas for procedures, speed and quality which can benefit the company to grow.
Tasks may also include loading unloading vans, making deliveries, and helping installers (rare). Were a small company so mucking in is something we all do.
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years bench joinery experience (staircase experience ideal)
- Able to demonstrate a desire and commitment to delivering high quality joinery products
- Able to read, interpret and set out from drawings from our dedicated StairBiz software
- Setting up CNC machine for the jobs allocated. (Training can be given)
- Perform the machining required to the specifications on plans and cutting lists
- Machine maintenance schedule and good housekeeping
- Ability to solve any complications in a timely manner

In return we offer:
- Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 pa depending on experience
- Full-time, Permanent 7:30am – 4:00pm
