We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Chef, who can commute reliably to Clitheroe, at a prestigious institution in Lancashire, someone who has preferably worked at a Chef de Partie level.

You will need:

  • Level 2 Food Safety certification and Level 2 in Food Preparation
  • Experience as a Chef de Partie level, ideally within a high-volume environment
  • Ability to commute reliably to site, this role does not offer accommodation
  • Strong commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • A knack for minimizing waste and maximizing quality
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work with fresh produce and move between prep and service

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality food as directed
  • Serving 500 plus covers per day
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and related areas
  • Assist in managing food inventory, including receiving and storing deliveries as needed
  • Contribute to the creation of new dishes and menu planning
  • Ensure all departmental and legal food safety documentation is completed accurately
