Pastry Chef De Partie Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
  • Ensure the pastry section operates efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new recipes and menu items
  • Manage inventory and order supplies while minimizing waste
  • Mentor and support junior staff in the pastry kitchen


Pastry Chef De Partie Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef De Partie, ideally within a rosette-level establishment, although this is not essential
  • A passion for pastry arts with a creative flair and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent understanding of baking techniques and the science behind pastry and desserts
  • Professional culinary qualifications, with a special focus on pastry and baking
