Sonic Summary

A Lancashire based food manufacturing company is looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a 3 on 3 off days and nights rotating shift pattern.
The role requires an experienced Maintenance Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, who will handle PPM work, projects, and reactive breakdowns in production and facilities engineering.
The position offers a salary of £48,000 along with benefits such as a free employee car park.
Candidates should have an engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications, ideally ONC/HNC or NVQ Level 3, and experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
Experience in the food industry or FMCG is preferred, but other backgrounds will be considered.

A Lancashire based food manufacturing company are seeking a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team on a 3 on 3 off Days and Nights rotating shift pattern.

This is a varied role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (ideally electrically biased), and you will be involved in PPM work, projects, reactive breakdowns, both in production and facilities engineering.

Looking for a good all-round engineer who is flexible, likes to work hard and may be looking to try their skills in a different industry if not already in food.

Responsibilities of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Planned and reactive maintenance working with team
Modify and update PPM system on a daily basis to ensure engineering information is up to date and accurate
Proactive service and support to production and factory services
Identify spares requirements and maintain stock levels
Maintain records for historical purposes of repairs

Skills & Experience Required to become a Maintenance Engineer

Engineering apprenticeship or academic and practical qualifications
Ideally ONC / HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
Ideally food industry / FMCG experience, but will consider others
Experience within maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
High levels of literacy and numeracy are required
