Proven track record managing a high-end restaurant, preferably within a luxury hotel setting, demonstrating expertise in delivering superior dining experiences
Possesses an innate ability to anticipate and meet guests' needs, ensuring every interaction enhances their overall dining experience
Experienced in leading, motivating, and developing a team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages staff excellence and retention
Skilled in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing profitability while maintaining the highest standards of service and quality
Able to effectively manage multiple tasks, address and resolve operational challenges, and ensure smooth restaurant operations
Responsibilities of a Restaurant Manager at a Luxury Hotel and Restaurant:
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all services meet the high standards expected in a luxury environment
Proactively interact with guests to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure a memorable dining experience, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction and loyalty
Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, schedule shifts, conduct performance evaluations, and develop training programs to elevate service standards
Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop and update menus, ensuring offerings are aligned with guest preferences and seasonal availability
Manage the restaurants budget, control inventory, and analyse financial performance to meet revenue and cost targets
Collaborate with the hotels marketing team to promote the restaurant, develop special events and promotions, and maintain the restaurant's prestigious image
