Your new companyI am working with a progressive business, based in Clitheroe who are looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator following an incredibly successful year. This business are now reporting a financial turnover exceeding £12million, with plans to continue to increase this over the coming years.Your new roleAs an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth running of our accounts department. Your duties will include processing purchase invoices, reconciling statements, managing payment runs, and handling new account forms. You will also be responsible for bank reconciliations using Xero, addressing queries, and working closely with our team to maintain accurate financial records. Additionally, you will support HR functions by being the point of contact for the site team, managing HR forms and correspondence, handling new starter paperwork and inductions, and reporting on sickness and absence. You will also assist with office staff administration and work directly with the Managing Director and external HR consultants. This role is open to both full time and part time applicants, between 30-37.5 hours per week. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in accounts administration, with experience in purchase invoice processing, statement reconciliation, and bank reconciliation. Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software is preferential. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are crucial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams will also be key to your success.
