Macildowie Finance are working with a brilliant manufacturing business who are growing and looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to pick up a role that is integral support for the Financial Controller, and a great chance to see a variety of responsibilities in a growing company. It is a largely stakeholder facing position, so there will be lots of opportunity to business partner with all areas of the business.

This role does offer an element of hybrid working, with up to 2 days per week at home after initial training.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Complete company management accounts and ledger close
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation from revenue to gross margin.
  • Maintenance of an accurate Fixed Asset register
  • Provide finance business partnering to a variety of stakeholders
  • Understand and provide commentary on manufacturing / production performance including output KPI's per production line, labour efficiency etc
  • Support the completion and development of the monthly MI pack

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • AAT Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in partnering with a variety of stakeholders
  • Enthusiastic, driven and inquisitive
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment ideal but not essential
