Cherry professional are assisting a renowned manufacturing brand in their search for a commercially and analytically astuteAccountantto join their growingLoughboroughbased finance function.
The successful candidate will get to manage the finances for a 20 million revenue department of the company, with progression routes further on then readily accessible. You will also get to report into a very knowledgeable and understandingFinance Manager.

Job Role:Senior Accountant
Location:Loughborough
Salary Package: 50,000
The Job responsibilities include:
- Preparingmonthly forecastsandbridge analysisformonthly P&L
- Production of month end close including journals and thegeneral ledger account.
- Analysis offinancial reportsbefore presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Sales and trend analysis in aid of financial planning.
- Assistance withyear-end audit.
Ensure financial business processes complies with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
For this role, the client is looking for someone who is:
- In the latter stages ofCIMA/ACCA/ACAor already aqualified accountant.
- Previous experience withforecastingand month end accounts.
- Good knowledge of excel and accountancy systems.
Desirable but not Mandatory: Previousfinancial modellingexperience
