Finance Assistant

Location: Coalville (Office Based)
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 (Depending on Experience)

Our client, a highly successful  business based in North Leicester, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied role covering key financial functions within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger:
. Processing of purchase invoices
. Reconciling supplier statements
. Matching invoices with corresponding purchase orders & goods received notes, and liaising with the buying team & suppliers to resolve discrepancies
. Ensuring all supplier invoices are authorised before payment
. Handling the weekly supplier payment run and ad hoc payments as required
. Managing monthly meter readings and ensuring accuracy of utility bills

Sales Ledger:
. Matching and batching sales orders and proof of deliveries to generate sales invoices
. Processing sales invoices
. Managing customers' self-billing invoices and manually generated sales invoices in Sage
. Delivering sales invoices to customers via portals and email
. Managing customer statements & credit control

Payroll:
. Providing additional cover for hours collation of hourly paid staff

Required Software Skills:
. Sage Line 50
. Microsoft Excel

Additional Responsibilities:
. Assisting the Finance Manager with day-to-day duties as required

Package & Benefits:
. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm 
. Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
