Position: Human Resources Officer
Contract: 3 Month Contract, ASAP start
Possibility of Extension: Yes, based on performance
Pay Rate: 18.64 per hour
Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Location: LE67 4JP

Job Purpose:

  • Administration of our online learning system
  • Administer and support our online recruitment process
  • Run regular reports using Business Objects and iTrent reporting systems
  • Arrange and set up training courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on various HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policies.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to design and implement effective HR programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of HR data and trends to recommend strategic solutions.
  • Guide managers and employees on HR best practices, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the resolution of complex employee relations matters, conducting investigations as necessary.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes, including interviewing and candidate evaluation.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to contribute innovative HR solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally has work experience in an HR and/or learning and development environment
  • Ensuring discretion and confidentiality in all HR matters
  • Ability to generate and interpret reports
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of equality and diversity considerations
  • Able to operate and quickly gain familiarity with computer packages, particularly the Microsoft Office suite, reporting systems and our learning management system with a view to supporting other employees in their use.
