Logistics Manager OSM

ATA Logistics have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics On-Site Manager based in Coalville

We are looking for a strong team player with managerial experience to come on-board and run the day-to-day logistic operations. You will be working from our clients site to ensure our service level agreements are delivered daily.

Prospective Candidates will have:

Excellent punctuality

Team player / Self-Motivated

Great communication skills

Technical Expertise/ computer literate

Managerial experience is essential

Driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test.

Ability to pass a basic criminal disclosure check.

Duties include but not restricted to:

Daily on-site presence

Manage daily on-road performance.

Manage a pool of drivers and assist with any questions or queries with daily briefs.

Complete daily administration tasks (Spreadsheets predominantly)

Ensure all performance metrics are met and performance plans/ retraining implemented.

Hold Recruitment sessions & process new applicants.

Respond to emails from management and action immediately.

Complete vehicle checks and raise any concerns through the appropriate channels.

Ensure all driver documents/ insurances are kept up to date.

Assist with our social media presence.

This is a self-employed position.

7-day operation

Working hours are to be determined but must be aligned with business requirements/ demand and may fluctuate.
