We are working with a prestigious client, a multisite business who have over 80 years of UK experience supplying construction companies who manufacture a range of products. Our client has a fantastic state of the art site in the heart of Ibstock with long term security and a fantastic reputation with a great turnover nationwide. The company offer fantastic training and progression opportunities to their engineering team and are searching for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join their talented team.

The Role:

This is a mechanically biased maintenance engineer position, where your responsibility will include:

• Reactive Maintenance

• Planned preventive Maintenance.

• Mechanical Fault finding

• Project involvement as well as any continuous improvement work

About you

To be considered for a Mechanical maintenance engineer position with the business, you have to be mechanical biased and have experience from any industry.

You should have the following:

  • Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment.
  • Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of hydraulic and pneumatics.
  • Recognised qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND).
